This qualification is an opportunity for engineers and others to upskill in the natural sciences that underpin effective catchment protection, restoration or maintenance planning and management.
You'll develop a critical and applied understanding of catchment hydrological, ecological, and morphological processes and how they inter-relate. You'll then gain detailed specialist knowledge in ecology across scales, environmental contaminant chemistry and the latest scientific knowledge about how to reduce nutrient and sediment inputs to waterways.
You'll get exclusive access to expert lecturers and experienced industry speakers and participate in practical workshops and field trips. You can also stay close to industry experts with one-on-one career mentoring.
You'll be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to work in areas of Catchment Management and Wastewater Treatment in regulatory agencies, local and state government authorities, environmental consulting companies, and non-government organisations.
You can also choose to continue your studies through our Master of Catchment Science or Master of Integrated Water Management degrees.
