Foundations in Science aims to provide a solid introduction to general concepts in the sciences of chemistry and biology. The course is designed to meet the "science" pre-requisite requirements for Bachelor of Education (Primary) students. The course has been constructed to cater for those students who did not undertake a 'science' subject in Year 11/12, OR have been away from study for some years and wish to refresh the science knowledge required for further study. Successfully completing this course will satisfy the "Authority Science subject" pre-requisite. Note that Foundations in Science is not permitted for students who have completed and obtained a SA or higher for any Queensland Authority Science subjects, or their equivalent.
