This course introduces students to how the tourism and hospitality industries have developed over time, locally and globally. It presents insights into the changing and dynamic nature of the interaction between people and the places they come from and go to visit. As such, it provides an orientation to the various ways people experience destinations, attractions, and tourism and hotel precincts.
