English for Music Studies (1022QCM)

English for Music Studies is offered to students from a non-English speaking background (NESB). Students whose first language is English are not permitted to undertake this course. The aim of this course is to introduce students to the language, knowledge, and communication skills required for the study and practice of music. It involves intensive English language practice and language immersion activities in a music discipline setting, with music content.
