Professional Communication for Nurses (1101NRS)

The aim of this course is to introduce students to principles of communication with a particular focus on the written and interpersonal communication skills required for effective and therapeutic engagement with clients and their families, peers and other health professionals. This course assists students to develop the skills that underpin professional and interpersonal communication and are appropriate to, and transferable between, the university and health care settings.
