This course provides an essential set of foundational drawing skills. The focus of the course is visual thinking and concept development including: sketching, mapping, diagramming and reflective/responsive processes. The students will develop and deliver complex and clear visual communication strategies in response to specific ideation tasks. The course introduces students to the use of fundamental drawing methods to develop flexible and agile thinking, and to extend and enhance disciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge and production. The knowledge and skills developed in this class will be applied in all of the students' major and minor courses of study. Prerequisites: Nil
