Creative Engineering (1701ENG)

Engineering solutions are developed from an in depth understanding of the subject knowledge combined with a creative approach to problem solving that takes a step back from details to consider the challenge as a whole. Complex problem solving involves an understanding of individuals and systems, interconnections and innovation. Furthermore these solutions must also be considered in terms of sustainable development. This course introduces the student to engineering design through a project-based approach to the development of a product or piece of infrastructure as part of small design team.
