Ideas in Interactive Media (1703QCA)

This course introduces students to important ideas related to the interdisciplinary field of creative media and technology. It provides an intellectual foundation in key concepts and approaches to practice, providing a historical context for activities, and equipping students with critical and analytical approaches. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the field, the course will draw on work from disciplines including software design, digital media, the philosophy of technology, interaction design, cybernetics and the visual and performing arts. Incompatible with: 1536QCA Design Concepts & 1532QCA Creative Research Methods.
