Introduction to Social Science (1710LHS)

This is a first-year introductory course that answers the following questions: What is social science? How do social scientists analyse the world? What issues are social scientists concerned with? What are some of the key debates in social science? What jobs do social scientists do? The course is underpinned by a focus on critical thinking, civic engagement, global learning, and intercultural knowledge.
