This course is part of the internationalisation of the curriculum at Griffith University. The course provides a wide range of in-country experiences for a diverse set of students. For students with little or no previous experience with China, it aims to provide an authentic in-country introduction to Chinese language, business, culture, politics, history and environment. For those students with some China experience it aims to consolidate and further develop these skills in country. The course is intended for students from a wide range of discipline areas who might be able to apply their skills to the Chinese context. The course also aims to encourage students to take an interest in the important existing and potential linkages between the People's Republic of China and Australia, gaining a deeper understanding of both countries.
