This course provides professional development opportunities in the areas of art collection management, registration, conservation, education, public engagement and curatorship. As a real workplace internship, participants engage in the day to day activities undertaken by staff at the Griffith University Art Museum. Students will gain an understanding of 'best practice' within the museum sector. Past participants have used the skills acquired during the Internship Program to establish careers in the arts industry as curators, registrars, gallerists, arts educators, preparators, writers and specialist framers.
