This course is available to Bachelor of Science Advanced with Honours students only and must be completed as part of the program. The Advanced Studies Task enables students to conduct individual research under the supervision of an academic staff mentor in the School of Environment and Science. The Task will involve undertaking experimental or theoretical research across the trimester under the direction of the mentor. The Task will be assessed by a research report, the conduct of the research across the trimester, and a presentation at the Advanced Studies Symposium in week 13 of the trimester. Nomination of Task forms will be available from the Course Convenor, and must be completed and submitted by the end of week 2 of the trimester.
