Acute Nursing Practice (2803NRS)

This course develops and integrates students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to competently provide safe nursing care for individuals experiencing acute health conditions. Students undertake 160 hours of clinical practice to develop nursing competence congruent with a second-year undergraduate student level. Prerequisites: 1805NRS Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 | 1807NRS Safe Administration of Medication | 1808NRS Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 | 1809NRS Effective Nursing Practice | 1810NRS Health Assessment Corequisites: 2804NRS Human Pathophysiology and Pharmacology 1 Incompatible: NIL
