Mental Health Nursing Practice (2809NRS)

This course offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and approaches relevant to the care of individuals with mental health problems. Students undertake 80 hours of clinical practice to develop nursing competence in mental health clinical settings. Prerequisites: 1804NRS Psychosocial Development Across the Lifespan | 1806NRS Communicating Effectively | 1807NRS Safe Administration of Medication | 1809NRS Effective Nursing Practice | 1810NRS Health Assessment Co-requisites: NIL Incompatible: NIL
