Australian Indigenous Art and Culture (First Contact) (2914QCA)

This course investigates Australian Indigenous Art in the context of world culture and its development and growth from the time of 'first contact' to the mid 20th century and onwards. It plays particular attention to regional art of Indigenous remote communities and how the proliferation might effect, or may have already affected Australian Indigenous culture. This course aims to develop an understanding and respect for all cultures within Australian society.
