First Peoples Applied Business Practice (3009GBS)

This work-integrated learning (WIL) course is designed to focus on First Peoples business and business practice. You will gain authentic experience in a workplace that delivers services with First Peoples communities or with First Peoples business owners. The course will focus on a specific opportunity or challenge within the business or organisation and offers the opportunity to further develop your skills in problem analysis, inclusive and culturally appropriate communication, cultural safety and teamwork. This course is selective and there is an application process which closes 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the Trimester. It is a requirement to apply and submit a resume and application letter. Enrollment in this course is restricted to students who have completed the registration and application process and have secured an internship position with Griffith Business School. Please note: internships are not guaranteed and are competitive.
