This course explores current directions and debates in social work, social and political institutions and discourses and their impact on social work, and begins the process of requiring students to articulate what kind of social worker they want to be and their stance on key professional issues. Prerequisites: 3012HSV Social Work Field Placement 1. Incompatible: 7062HSV Contemporary Debates in Social Work.
