Medical Nutrition Therapy 2 uses the nutrition care process framework introduced in Medical Nutrition Therapy 1 to consider disease states that require dietary modification in individuals. The content will include gastrointestinal disorders, renal disease and cancer, and the material will be delivered by guest dietitians specialising in these areas through lectures and case studies. This course forms part of the knowledge base for the medical nutrition therapy placement in year 4.
