The planning, operation, management and continuous quality improvement of food services plays an important role in providing essential services across a range of settings. This course will critically examine and contrast the processes involved in the provision of food and nutrition services. Furthermore, research skills will be applied to a capstone assessment item focusing on quality improvement in a food service system. The course prepares students for their 4111AHS Food Service Management Practicum in their final year. This is a restricted course offered to Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics students only.
