Student Managed Investment Fund is a course that challenges high-achieving students to apply their training and knowledge in investment simulations and work-related projects. The course is designed to equip students with the professional skills necessary to be work-ready by engaging them in real-world financial analysis and simulations. Students are supported throughout this University-based internship by Academics and Industry Practitioners, who will come to campus to share real world insights into the challenges of portfolio/investment management and advice. These individuals will provide mentoring to students throughout the course. This course is restricted to students undertaking the Finance and Financial Planning majors. Students must have completed a minimum 160 credit points. Prerequisites: 2201AFE Corporate Finance and 2206AFE Investment Analysis and Management Co-requisites: NIL Incompatible: NIL
