Professional Practice in Special Education (PPSE) is the specialised professional experience course within the Special Needs Award Major of the Bachelor of Education program. Values, knowledge, and skills acquired during the course will provide a foundation for subsequent professional experiences in special education settings. This course draws on material covered in previous professional experiences courses, curriculum and assessment courses, and other education courses in the program. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed 2999EDN Managing Learning. To be eligible to attend the Professional Experience component of this course and to complete the course students must demonstrate 80% Attendance and 100% Engagement (see 4.2 for conditions). All Professional Experience courses are designated courses for the purpose of exclusion; if you fail you are listed for exclusion from the program of studies.
