This mobility tour is designed to deliver experiential learning, in solutions-oriented journalism/communications that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - particularly in climate and social justice. This course will prepare students for the workforce and align their professional practice in global environmental and social justice communication. This course requires a willingness to travel and engage in cultural immersion. This course is particularly suited for students studying communication, journalism, environmental sciences, and social sciences, or students with an interest in global storytelling. Enrolment in this course is by application to the course convenor. In Trimester 3, 2023 the course group will travel to the foothills of the Himalayas in North-Western India region. PREREQUISITE: Students must have completed at least 80 credit points of their degree. CO-REQUISITES: Nil. INCOMPATIBLE: 3381LHS Power, Politics and Trouble in Paradise: South Pacific Study Tour.
