As a student in this course, you will explore the role of physiotherapy in assessing and treating individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on paediatric populations. You will emphasise preventative and rehabilitative care in a variety of clinical settings to children as they grow and develop. You will also acquire the knowledge and skills to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, effective physiotherapy and inter-professional services for paediatric clinical populations within a family-centred model of care. This course builds on the foundations acquired in year one and two and links with future clinical placements. Pre-requistes: Physiotherapy Across the Lifespan 1 (3407AHS), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy 2 (3401AHS) and Neurological Physiotherapy (3405AHS). Co-requistes: Acute Care Physiotherapy (3403AHS)
