This course equips students with a good knowledge of planning law with particular reference to the law in Queensland. The course involves statutory interpretation, case law analysis and a contextual critique of the principal statutes, including the Planning Act, Qld, 2016, principles and doctrines. It includes a case study of planning and climate change. It is recommended that students have successfully completed at least 80 credit points of courses towards their degree program before enrolling in this course.
