Research Proposal and Planning (6000ESC)

This course provides a foundation for students enrolled in Honours or Master-level programs with a research component. Topics covered in this course include research methods, research planning and management, commercialisation, IP, patenting, ethical conduct in research, the philosophy and history of science, how to critically review research, how to write a research report, and how to present a scientific seminar. During this course, students will also develop the introduction of their research dissertation.
