PG Business Internship I (7004GBS)

This 10 credit point elective course is available to all postgraduate Griffith Business School students. Its purpose is to allow students to explore potential career paths and apply the necessary skills for a successful transition from university to the workforce. Throughout the course, students will develop insights into the attributes that contribute to their ability to make meaningful impact. Designed to complement students' participation in internships with organisations such as small and medium enterprises, multinational corporations, government departments, and non-profits. This course offers flexibility in delivery, including face-to-face, virtual or hybrid formats. Internship opportunities extend beyond South-East Queensland, encompassing regional and remote areas of Australia as well as other capital cities. Enrolment in this course is contingent upon completion of an application process in addition to successfully securing an internship placement. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their career development and utilise support resources available through Griffith CareerHub. Students may bring their own internship experience (paid or unpaid) or apply for a range of unpaid internship opportunities sourced by Griffith Business School - though these positions are competitive and not guaranteed. Please note: This course is not available for credit based on prior studies or external activities. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
