By understanding Australian and international efforts to stamp out corruption in government and business, including the principles, institutions and processes that underpin these efforts, you will gain a broad view of effective ways to pursue ethical conduct and robust decision-making within your own organisation. Throughout the course, you will refer to relevant experience and examples from a range of perspectives, through guided and self-directed research. You will critically examine the forces and events that influence outcomes so you can establish effective mechanisms to manage these interests. You'll apply problem solving and critical thinking skills to corporate governance and public policy questions, bolstering your professionalism. Using the lessons from this course, you will be capable of contributing to informed discussion and debate with superior communication skills on the topics of integrity and anti-corruption, and readily identify the issues and opportunities in the public policy space.
