Co-Design Incubator (7009GBS)

This course is available to all postgraduate students from a range of disciplines, and provides opportunity to work on a project-based internship. Project-based internships include working on (1) industry- or organisation- relevant problems or challenges that require a solution or set of recommendations, (2) independent research projects based on professional practice, or (3) projects based on special topics of interest that are relevant to the students' field of study and requirements of the Program. The course is designed to facilitate a successful transition from academic life to employment by providing opportunities to apply what has been learnt at university to a workplace setting. A second but equally important feature of this course is the focus on raising awareness of your own personal attributes and the professional skills that are needed to gain and sustain employment, build a successful career, and contribute to individuals, communities and organisations across all sectors in ways that produce prosperous, equitable and sustainable futures. Project-based internship are offered in face-to-face, virtual/online or blended mode. This course is not available for credit based on prior studies or external activities. Incompatible and co-taught: 7009GBS, GBS302 and 3002GBS Industry Project/Co-Design Incubator.
