Bioavailability and Pollutant Management in Agriculture (7309NSC)

This course will discuss the complex interplay of microbes in in the natural environment and their impact on soil nutrient cycling in agricultural and horticultural production systems, the impact of microbes and plants on inorganic and organic pollutant movement and fate in the food production systems, and management strategies to harness or control microbes and plants as a means of improving food production and minimising any adverse environmental impacts.
