Clinical Practice I (7403AHS_P1)

This course focuses on clinical practice, specifically the initial assessment and treatment. Clinical practice will be a mix of self-directed reflective practice that can be carried out from the students' own workplace and an intensive on campus block where the student will be supervised. During clinical practice 1, the focus will be of the student performing an initial assessment and treatment that is supported not only by their clinical findings but also evidence from the literature to a standard expected of a title member of either the MPA or SPA. Assessment will reflected this through a clinical exam followed by questioning aimed at exploring the students ability to use knowledge gained in 7401AHS and 7402AHS. This course will commence prior to Semester 1.
