In this course, students will identify and apply pedagogies and practices that are most effective in creating a positive learning environment to support student motivation and engaged behaviour. This course also includes a professional experience placement in schools. Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed 7764EDN and have either completed or be concurrently enrolled in a senior curriculum course. To be eligible to attend the Professional Experience component of this course and to complete the course students must demonstrate 80% Attendance and 100% Engagement (see 4.2 for conditions). All Professional Experience courses are designated courses for the purpose of exclusion; if you fail you are listed for exclusion from the program of studies.
