Impact in Secondary Teaching (7999EDN)

This capstone professional experience course requires students to demonstrate knowledge and practices relevant to the APSTs at Graduate Level within a supervised professional experience placement and a teacher performance assessment task. The focus of this course is on the evidence based implementation of planning, teaching, assessment and moderation cycles, and documentation of impact on student learning reported for an external audience. Students must reach an 80% threshold for tutorial attendance and active participation in the lead up to placement for all Professional Experience courses. Students who cannot attend the full tutorial and thus cannot actively participate during the tutorial will not be able to proceed with the placement and complete the course. This is a capstone course and must be taken in the final trimester. All coursework must be completed prior, or concurrent, to enrolling in 7999EDN. This is a combined PEPS/ES course.
