Health professionals supporting women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges will complete this course to better understand how evidence-based psychosocial interventions are applied to improve the emotional health of childbearing women, and how personal beliefs and attitudes impact upon their own ability to work with women. Furthermore, students will develop a greater knowledge of how to engage with First Nations women and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.
