Students must be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine Program to enrol in this course. Community Medicine and Professional Practice 1 (CMPP1) will introduce you to the legal, cultural and societal principles that underpin the practice of medicine. You will be introduced to legal, ethical and professional frameworks, foundational concepts important to First People's Health and the principles of disease prevention in clinical practice.
