Practicum 2A (8180PSY_P1)

This course continues to develop students' competence as a practising psychologist within the second part of the practical internship in the Psychology Clinic (an extension of 8181PSY). Students continue to work as a provisionally registered clinical psychologists under close clinical supervision. The applied focus of this internship is designed to develop further student competence in managing a therapeutic caseload and working with clients across the lifespan, individually and in groups. This course is a non-graded course and students who pass the course will receive a non-graded pass (NGP) on their transcript. You must have satisfactory performance on all assessment tasks to receive a non-graded pass in the course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of 7150PSY; Successful completion of 7151PSY Assessment, Diagnosis and Formulation.
