Practice-Based Music Research (8909QCM)

This course provides students with a systematic overview of the research skills necessary to undertake research projects in music. Training in the use of relevant bibliographic and electronic resources, in critical writing, and requirements of research product will be included. It will focus on academic rigor and innovative approaches to research in the creative arts in general and music in particular. PRE-REQUISITE: Enrolment in the MMus Research INCOMPATIBLE: 7100QCM
