This course introduces the basic chemical principles that underlie biological systems. The foundation provided in this course will enable students to be able to further develop their chemistry knowledge and skills relevant to health and medical sciences in later years. Assumed Knowledge: Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C); One of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (Units 3 & 4, C). Incompatible with 1023SCG Chemistry I
