This course will provide you with an overview of the professional, legislative and regulatory frameworks that apply, and provide knowledge and skills to order and interpret clinical investigations, create medication plans, and write prescriptions relevant to midwifery practice. You will gain a sound understanding of pharmacology and the rational use of medicines and investigations, as they apply to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and neonatal care. Prerequisite: Students must hold a current and unrestricted licence as a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Prerequisites: NIL Co-requisites: NIL Incompatible: NIL
