Database Design (2002ICT)

This course introduces the fundamental concepts of conceptual data modelling, query languages and database design. It includes descriptions of object-oriented, relational and hierarchical data models. Prerequisites: 1002ICT Discrete Structures 1 or 1001ICT Introduction to Programming (formerly known as Programming 1) or 1005ICT Object Oriented Programming (formerly known as Programming 2). From 2013 this course will no longer be offered in semester 1.
