For Domestic and those International students not required to complete the English Language Enhancement course

To be eligible for the award of the Bachelor of Environmental Management (BEnvMgt), a student must acquire 320 credit points as prescribed below:

  • complete 80 credit points of prescribed first year core courses including the 10 credit point first year course specified for the award major
  • complete one of the following award majors:
    • Environmental Protection and Pollution comprising:
      • 10 credit points for an additional first year course and
      • 100 credit points for second and third year courses
    • Environmental Sustainability comprising:
      • 100 credit points for second and third year courses
    • Physical Environmental Science comprising:
      • 10 credit points for an additional first year course and
      • 100 credit points for second and third year courses
  • complete 60 credit points of listed elective courses in Years 2 and 3 for Environmental Sustainability major OR 50 credit points of listed elective courses in Years 2 and 3 for Environmental Protection and Pollution and Physical Environmental Science majors

  • complete 60 credit points of listed elective courses in Years 2 and 3
  • complete 80 credit points of Year 4 courses comprising:

In accordance with the Bachelor Degree Policy:

  • complete no more than 120 credit points of courses at Year 1 level
  • complete at least 60 credit points of courses at final year level.

Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level and Type

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. This qualification is accredited as an AQF Level 7 - Bachelor Degree.

English Language Enhancement

Domestic students enrolled in this program whose first language is not English may complete the following English Language Enhancement (ELE) course as an elective.

Students whose first language is English are not permitted to undertake this ELE course.
