This program is only available to Griffith University staff.
The aim of the Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching is to enable you to be an effective and successful University educator. This Graduate Certificate program will support you in the development of learning and teaching capabilities that lead to transformation of your practice.
The program consists of four core courses. All courses are practice-based and explore contemporary ideas, research and pedagogies in university learning and teaching. A capstone course (Transforming Learning and Teaching Practice) will provide you with the opportunity to conduct, evaluate and disseminate a scholarly learning and teaching inquiry relevant to your discipline or practice context.
As a graduate, you will be well placed to contribute to the scholarship of learning and teaching in your School, the University and your discipline.
This program is offered part-time only via online delivery.
This program is directed primarily at people who are already working in higher education either in a teaching role or in educational, administrative or technical roles that support teaching and learning.
Graduates will be more competitive in applications for University positions and strengthen their cases for confirmation or promotion.
The indicative annual tuition fee is calculated based on a standard full-time study load which is usually 80 credit points.
The indicative annual tuition fee is based on current conditions and available data and should only be used as a guide. These fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
If the fee rate for your program is not displayed above, please contact Student Connect for assistance.
If a postgraduate student changes to a different program they will be subject to the approved program fee for the trimester in which they are enrolled.
Griffith staff (including part-time and casuals) who meet Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Residency conditions are eligible to have their tuition fees subsidised by the University.
