Leave of absence
Students may not take leave of absence in this program without the prior approval of the Program Director. The Program Director will review applications for leave of absence relative to the maximum time available to complete the program, professional registration requirements and employment requirements (if applicable).

Pathways to further study
Students who complete a dissertation component will have a pathway to Higher Degree Research study. Graduates who wish to continue onto Higher Degree Research study and have not completed the dissertation component will be able to apply for entry to the Graduate Diploma of Health Research (4161) which provides the necessary preparation for entry into the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program.

This postgraduate program has Commonwealth Supported Places. If you are eligible, the Australian Government will contribute to the cost of this program but you will also be required to make a contribution.
Quotas are applied for admission to the Commonwealth Supported Places. Where demand exceeds the number of available places and all places have been filled for the current admission period, applicants who meet minimum program entry requirements may be eligible for a Fee-Paying Postgraduate place if such places are available.
