About this program

This program is for health care professionals who want to develop a greater knowledge base around service design, practice and development. This will appeal to clinicians both in public and private settings. It will provide a broad and deep skill set to empower and encourage reform within the health setting. This program will appeal to clinicians who do not wish to study at Masters level.

The Graduate Diploma will also extend knowledge and skills in midwifery whilst preparing students for an expanded role innovative practice. It is also envisaged that this program will develop high-level innovative management skills and advanced services knowledge in service development and change.

Please note that successful completion of this program does not lead to eligibility to apply for registration as a midwife. Prospective students seeking eligibility to apply for registration as a midwife should refer to the Bachelor of Midwifery (1354).
