English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to these programs are described below.

Selection for admission to this degree is made on the basis of academic merit or satisfactory portfolio and interview.
Selection for admission is competitive as the number of applicants generally exceeds the places available. The minimum requirement for eligibility for admission is completion of Year 12 of secondary school or equivalent academic achievement or satisfactory portfolio and interview.

Domestic applicants from NSW and ACT should apply for admission through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

Griffith offers a number of admission pathways to your preferred degree. By preferencing both the Bachelor of Visual Arts and the Diploma of Visual Arts/Bachelor of Visual Arts, if you don't quite meet entry requirements for the bachelor degree, you may be offered a place in the undergraduate diploma. Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Visual Arts you will be transferred into the second year of the Bachelor of Visual Arts program. International students who successfully complete the Direct Entry Program (DEP) will satisfy the English Language requirements for this Griffith degree.
The Direct Entry Program (DEP) is not available for Domestic students.
