About this program

This degree is designed for high-achieving students. Undertake advanced engineering study to boost your future career with guaranteed opportunities for paid internships, industry and research experience. Students are expected to maintain a credit average GPA to remain in this degree. In your first year, you'll develop a strong foundation in basic science and engineering principles. In your second year, you'll choose your preferred major so you can focus on your passion. In your final year you'll put your skills to work on a project with one of our industry partners here or overseas, as part of our trimester-long Industry Affiliates Program.

Created in close collaboration with engineering professionals, this degree is designed so the lessons you learn inside and outside the classroom have real, immediate value for your career. Throughout your studies you'll be able to apply your knowledge in a range of practical settings including mentorships and work placements. From your first year you'll have the opportunity to engage in two to three weeks of paid, full-time industry experience, increasing to four to five weeks in second year, and up to twelve weeks in your third year as part of your capstone course.
