For the award of Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Bachelor of Biomedical Science [LLB (Hons)/BBiomedSc], you must successfully complete 400 credit points, made up of
- 400 credit points for the core module
Other program requirements
You must successfully complete:
- no more than 120 credit points of Level 1 courses (the first digit of a course code denotes the level);
- at least 60 credit points of Level 3 courses or higher.
This degree may be awarded with Distinction where a student achieves a minimum program GPA of 6.5 with no failed courses. The words "This award was achieved with Distinction" will be recorded on the testamur.

Classification of Honours
This degree with Honours may be awarded in the following classes:
- Class I Honours
- Class IIA Honours
- Class IIB Honours
- Class III Honours
The class of Honours to be awarded to each student in this degree will be determined on the basis of the Grade Point Average (GPA) achieved by a student in all attempts at LAW core courses and core course options as outlined in the Dissertation Management Procedure.

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is the national policy for regulated qualifications in Australian education and training. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is accredited as an AQF Level 7 - Bachelor Degree.The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is accredited as an AQF Level 8 - Bachelor Honours Degree.
