About this program

Studying law and biomedical science offers a unique skillset, integrating scientific reasoning with legal acumen. You will be prepared to tackle ethical, regulatory, and policy challenges shaping modern healthcare and biotechnology.

Within biomedical science, students explore the fundamental principles of biomedical and clinical sciences, including genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, immunology, microbiology, infectious disease, pharmacology and neuroscience.

Simultaneously, studying law in this context involves navigating the intricate legal landscape that governs biomedical research, healthcare delivery, and biotechnological innovations. In addition to foundational law study, you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding in healthcare law, bioethics, intellectual property rights, and regulatory frameworks.

You will learn to critically evaluate legal precedents and policies that influence medical fields, as well as the analytical skills to assess ethics, formulate informed policies, and advocate for justice in healthcare settings.

Opportunities to boost your career development and employability are integrated throughout the degrees, and you'll learn in hands-on laboratory environments, as well as on real client case studies, internships, gaining practical experience and building a professional network before you graduate.
