Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production (Honours)

To be eligible for the award of Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production (Honours) [BFScrMePr(Hons)], a student must acquire 80 credit points as prescribed below:

• complete the Screen Research course (20 credit points)
• complete the Professional Internship Project or Elective (10 credit points)
• complete the Thesis component (40 credit points Honours Research Project + 10 credit points Exegesis)

The minimum period for gaining credit in the Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production (Honours) degree is one year and the maximum period is three years including any periods of authorised or unauthorised leave, termination or exclusion.

The Honours Research Project (40 credit points) and the Exegesis (10 credit points) will be included in the calculation of the Honours classification.

Classification of Honours

This degree with Honours may be awarded in the following classes:

• Class I Honours
• Class IIA Honours
• Class IIB Honours
• Class III Honours

The class of Honours to be awarded to each student in this degree will be determined by the relevant Assessment Board on the basis of a Program GPA and a minimum percentage for the Dissertation as outlined in the Dissertation Management Procedure.
