Leave of absence
Students may not take a leave of absence in this program without the prior approval of the Program Director. The Program Director will review applications for leave of absence relative to the maximum time available to complete the program, professional registration requirements and employment requirements (if applicable).
You will be able to take on roles of nursing leadership in the clinical specialist area of acute care nursing. You may also be able to expect increased professional recognition and mobility, an enhanced ability to remain in employment and an ability to provide leadership in the health field.
Graduates from the Graduate Certificate in Acute Care Nursing may apply for entry to the Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (5721).
The indicative annual tuition fee is calculated based on a standard full-time study load which is usually 80 credit points.

Quotas are applied for admission to the Commonwealth Supported Places. Where demand exceeds the number of available places and all places have been filled for the current admission period, applicants who meet minimum program entry requirements may be eligible for a Fee-Paying Postgraduate place if such places are available.
