To be eligible for the award of Master of Civil Engineering/Master of Engineering Project Management (MCivilEngMEngProjMgt), a student must acquire 160 credit points as prescribed below:

  • gain 80 credit points for Civil Engineering courses comprising:
    • 30 credit points for List A courses
    • 50 credit points for List B courses
  • gain 80 credit points for Engineering Project Management courses comprising:
    • 10 credit points for List A courses
    • 70 credit points for List B courses.

This degree may be awarded with Distinction where a student achieves a minimum program GPA of 6.5 with no failed courses. The words "This award was achieved with Distinction" will be recorded on the testamur.

Exit point

To be eligible to exit the Master of Civil Engineering/Master of Engineering Project Management program with the Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering award, a student must acquire 40 credit points for List A courses.

To exit, a student should apply for a program transfer.
